Fly fishing and light tackle spin fishing in the Everglades National Park
Everglades NAtional PArk
The Everglades National Park is an incredible area covering 7,800 square miles. A huge portion of the park includes Florida Bay, Whitewater bay and stretches west to Chokoloskee. The National Park offers some of the most beautiful scenery, wildlife and diverse fishing opportunities in the world. Just short ride to the parks boundary, expansive grass-flats and mangrove shorelines await hosting a variety of incredible fish species to chase. Redfish, snook, tarpon, bonefish, permit, sea trout, triple tail, sharks, cobia, jacks and snappers are all available in the amazing waters of the Everglades National Park. Fly rods and light spin rods are the preferred tackle to sight fish tailing reds, waking snook, rolling tarpon and the many other amazing fish that live here. I routinely fish all across Florida bay, East and Middle cape, Shark River and Whitewater bay.
Fly Fishing in the Everglades National Park-
The Everglades National Park offers amazing fly fishing opprotunities for a multitude of species year round. I typically use fly rods from 8-12 wt. to chase the many species we target in the National Park. Redfish, snook, bonefish, permit, tarpon, triple tail, sea trout, mackerel, jacks, barracuda and sharks are all available to test your skills with a fly rod.
Spin Fishing in the Everglades National Park-
Light tackle spin fishing with artificial and live bait for all of the above mentioned species. You can test your skills in the skiff sight fishing and blind casting along the mangroves for redfish, snook and tarpon. The bay boat is a great way to show families and groups of more than 2 the beautiful waters of the Everglades National Park. The action fishing for sea trout, jacks, snappers and sharks is a great way to introduce new anglers and kids to the parks waters.
