Trip Info

Skiff trips can depart from multiple locations and pickups can be arranged. Bay boat trips typically leave at 8am from Captain Hooks Marina 11833 Overseas Hwy. Marathon , FL 33050. Often I suggest times that coincide with the best tides and fishing. Trips include all the flies, fly rods, bait and tackle. You are more than welcome to bring your own Gear. There are coolers on the boats and ice is provided. Please bring any drinks and food you might like. I recommend a good pair of polarized sunglasses especially for sight fishing charters. A $200 deposit is taken at the time of the booking. Trips cancelled with at least 2 weeks notice are refunded in full. Inside that the deposit will be forfeited. No shows are charged full rate

Group trips

Multiple boat trips are available on both skiff and bay boat trips. I know many great captains throughout the keys and can easily accommodate multiple boat trips given enough notice.

Gear

All flies, fly rods, spinning gear and tackle are provided on charters. I use top of the line Winston fly rods and Daiwa spinning gear. You are welcome to bring your own gear on any charters.

Hook and Cook

On bay boat trips there is an option to keep a few fish for a dinner or two. There are many great local restaurants that will prepare your fish for you. If you are looking to fill coolers or ship fish home I am more than happy to refer you to one a many great offshore captains in the area.
